• Philadelphia Phillies

    BayCare Ballpark — Clearwater, FL

    The Philadelphia Phillies hold the second-longest association between a major league baseball club and its spring training home. Training in Clearwater since 1947 and at BayCare Ballpark since the stadium’s opening in 2004, this ballpark is the Phillies’ third Clearwater home for the spring. It has had four names in its lifetime: Bright House Networks Field, Bright House Field, Spectrum Field, and finally its current name since February 2021. Between fixed seats and additional grass berm seating, the facility’s seating capacity is 8,500.

    QUICK TIP: Phillies players sign autographs as a team before the start of a game for fans found gathered down the left field line in sections 118-120. The best time to be at the bottom of those three sections is 30 minutes before game time.

  • Toronto Blue Jays

    TD Ballpark — Dunedin, FL

    Dunedin has been the spring home for the Toronto Blue Jays since the major league ball club was established in 1977. Originally Dunedin Stadium at Grant Field, TD Ballpark was built in 1990. From its original name, the ballpark has gone through three name changes: Knology Park, Florida Exchange Stadium to its current name in 2019. After completing a renovation in 2020 with a budgeted $102 million, the stadium’s seating capacity expanded from 5,500 to 8,500, including 6,500 fixed seats. The Blue Jays’ current 25-year lease of the facility was initiated in 2017.

  • Tampa Bay Rays

    Tropicana Field — St. Petersburg, FL

    Originally known as the Florida Suncoast Dome, (now) Tropicana Field is the only year-round facility in the MLB due to its non-retractable dome. This multi-purpose stadium was completed in 1990 and has been the home of the Tampa Bay Rays since their first season in 1998. Even though Tropicana Field has hosted more than a dozen other sports, it was originally built for baseball. In keeping with its original purpose, the Rays have consistently invested in their stadium with renovations and additions featuring fun fan amenities like one of the 10 biggest tanks in the nation. The Rays Touch Tank, a 35-foot, 10,000 gallon exhibit located over the right-center field fence, is home to three different species of rays and is maintained and sponsored by the Florida Aquarium.

    Joker Marchant Stadium — Lakeland, FL

    Lakeland has been the spring home to the Detriot Tigers since 1934. Joker Marchant Stadium has been home for the Tigers since its opening in 1966. Named after local resident and former Lakeland Parks and Recreation Director, Marcus “Joker” Marchant, the venue was last renovated in 2017 when it was also renamed Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium. The renovation increased the seating capacity in the stadium to 8,500, added new video displays, and additional food & beverage options (including the Pepsi Pavilion) where individuals or groups can be accommodated and fed while they watch their favorite team play.

  • New York Yankees

    George Steinbrenner Field — Tampa, FL

    The largest MLB spring training facility in Florida, George Steinbrenner Field, belongs to the New York Yankees. The Yankees moved from their original Florida training site in Fort Lauderdale to this venue in Tampa after the completion of its construction in 1996. Originally named Legends Field, it was built in the combined likenesses of the Yankee’s original stadium and their new stadium in the Bronx. The facility was renamed in 2008 in honor of the team’s long-time owner and Tampa resident, George Steinbrenner, two years before his passing. From luxury suites, cabanas, stadium seating, three clubs, and The Pavilion event center, Steinbrenner Field has a seating capacity of just over 11K people for your baseball game experience or big event.
